client: School assignment (2008)
materials: Agfa Isoly and a roll of Kodak BW 400CN
assignment: These are shots made for the two week workshop with Ahmet Polat. The assignment was completely open. You could photograph anything you’ld like, but the basis was that there should be some sort of story in it.
During these two weeks I -together with Ahmet- came to the conclusion that the photographs I take are more good looking graphical images rather than photographs that tell a story. This might be due to the fact that I take my pictures more as a graphic designer then as a photographer. People are also something I’ld rather not incorporate in my pictures. I guess that’s just a personal thing.
You may look for a deeper layer or a story behind all these photo’s but don’t bother. There is none. Just enjoy.
